The Mountaineers manhandled the #7 ranked Oklahoma Sooners in a neutral venue...if you consider neutral like 15 minutes from Oklahoma's regular court. By far the biggest win of the year for the Mountaineers and could propel them back into the Top 25. Early on, things didn't look good but when WVU switched the to 2-3 zone, it really hurt Oklahoma's inside game. And, the Mountaineers finally got back into doing some backdoor cuts which opened up the perimeter. The shooting was unbelievable, going 67+% from the field...by far their best shooting effort.
My bowl predictions aren't going as well as I had hoped...2-2 so far. And the hard picks aren't even up yet. I was impressed with Navy last night...what an awesome option team. Colorado State never had a chance.
Anyway, I've got to go...we're getting ready to start our Festivus celebrations here. The feats of strength have been replaced by Rock 'Em - Sock 'Em robots. The airing of grievance may, however, bring about real fighting.
