Goodbye MNF

Ah, Monday Night Football came to a close on ABC last night following a good 35 year run. Of course, 75% of the games on Monday Night Football were absolute blowouts that people turned off by halftime and the games were so late that most people couldn't stay up to watch them anyway. But, it was still a good run. And, don't worry, MNF will continue next year at it's new home, ESPN.

A couple questions:
  • Is anybody watching the NBA?
  • Is anybody watching the NHL?
  • Who else thinks the Bears are going to the Super Bowl?
  • Did anyone watch the GMAC Bowl?
  • Did anyone go shopping the day after Christmas?
  • And, did anyone watch the Tsunami show on the History Channel last night? If you didn't, you missed a very interesting show.

WVU re-entered the AP Top 25 this week...and Kevin Pittsnogle was highlighted in Andy Katz ESPN.com column for his effort against Oklahoma. Enjoy the easy games against Cansius and South Florida because, after that, the real schedule begins. Villanova, UCLA, Cincy, UConn, Pitt, G'Town, Louisville and more...a killer schedule. And, don't forget the biggest of all...Marshall. haha...j/k.

I was watching Cold Pizza yesterday and they were listing the Top 10 bowl games...the Sugar Bowl didn't even make the list. You have to be kidding me! ESPN doesn't think the Sugar Bowl is even worthy of a Top Ten spot on it's stupid loser show Cold Pizza. This is why I hate ESPN.

So, anyway, New Year's is approaching and the Sugar Bowl is approaching and I haven't even throught much about either one yet...but, I guess that time is approaching too. Catch ya later...
