Vick Indicted

In one of the better developments of today, Michael Vick was indicted today by a federal grand jury on charges related to illegal dogfighting. He initially proclaimed his innocence (or ignorance) and has since grown silent on the subject. The evidence of dog fighting on Vick's property is overwhelming. If you read the article above, be aware that the accounts of the dog fighting are a pretty disturbing.

If Vick was involved or knowingly allowed these events to occur, he deserves to spend some serious time in a federal prison. And I would expect Commission Roger Goodell to step up and do something immediately regarding Vick. He suspended Pac Man Jones for a full NFL season before Jones was even indicted. Vick has now been indicted for federal crimes...action by the NFL should follow.
